This Privacy Policy explains how Brett Strength (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you
use brettstrength.com and related services (the “Service”). It works together with our
Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account. Name, email, password (stored as a secure hash), and role (coach and/or athlete).
- Coaching data. Teams, roster membership, workouts, plans, exercise logs, maxes/progress, and messages you send in the product.
- Billing. Subscription status, plan tier, and related billing records. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Technical. Basic logs such as sign-in time, IP-related rate limits, and device/browser data needed for security features (for example passkeys / Face ID when you enable them).
- Marketing and contact forms. Email and related fields you submit on public pages (for example Contact).
2. How we use information
- Provide and improve coaching features (workouts, teams, progress, messaging).
- Authenticate you, reset passwords, and send transactional email (verification, password reset, billing-related notices).
- Process coach subscriptions and enforce plan athlete limits.
- Prevent abuse (rate limits, security checks).
- Respond to support requests you send us.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run the Service, including:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Email delivery — SMTP providers we configure to send mail from our domain.
- Hosting / infrastructure — the servers and database that run Brett Strength.
- Legal — if required by law or to protect the Service, users, or rights.
Coaches see athlete information needed to coach that athlete on their teams. Athletes see coaching
content shared with them by their coaches.
4. Retention
We keep account and coaching history while your account is active and as needed for the Service,
billing records, and legitimate business or legal needs. Ending a coach subscription does not by
itself wipe historical training data; access rules may change when entitlement ends.
5. Security
We use industry-standard practices such as hashed passwords, HTTPS, and access controls. No method
of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Children
The Service is aimed at coaches and athletes in training environments. If you coach minors, you
are responsible for having appropriate parental/guardian consent and for how you use athlete data
in your program.
7. Your choices
You can update profile details in the app where available, request a password reset, and cancel a
coach subscription at period end from Billing. For privacy questions or deletion requests, use our
Contact form.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy. The Effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use
after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
9. Contact
Privacy questions: Contact form (no email address published on this site).
